Happy Birthday, Amelia!

Today, Rebekah went to Takoma Park, Maryland, to attend a birthday party for Amelia, one of her pals from daycare.

Rebekah immediately eyed the birthday treats but patiently waited.

After playtime, Rebekah was inexplicably serious during the "Happy Birthday" sing-along:

Bull Island

On Sunday, Rebekah enjoyed a visit to a park next to Mom's high school alma mater, Poquoson High School.

Day at the Museum

As part of a weekend trip to Norfolk, Rebekah visited the Children's Museum of Virginia in Portsmouth, Virginia, with her friend, Andrew.

Rebekah tried out everything that the museum had to offer.

Even though she doesn't have a driver's license, Rebekah was allowed to drive a bus...

..and a firetruck.

Rebekah checked out the museum from top to bottom, visiting a pint-sized doctor's office, grocery store, music room, model train displays, science exhibits, and the arts space.

Rebekah will be sure to come back for another visit.

A Capital Time

Rebekah spent Labor Day weekend in Richmond, Virginia, exploring the city and attending Morris's birthday party. One of the non-party highlights was visiting Maymont and exploring the gardens...

Of course, even a new park can't compete with a birthday party:

What is better than visiting with out-of-town friends and eating cake? Rebekah was impressed with the Superman cake that Morris's mom made for him.
