Rebekah v. Sis

Rebekah went for her second doctor's appointment today and got another clean bill of health. She put on almost 3/4 of a pound since last Monday. Afterwards, when Rebekah was laying around, Sis finally said "hello." The cats have somehow managed to ignore a screaming newborn for a week; they may have finally realized that Rebekah is here to stay.

One Week

Rebekah is one week old today. She had her first doctor's visit today, where she was given a clean bill of health. Afterwards, Rebekah and Dad spent some time together.

In the interest of furthering science, Rebekah created a pie chart to reflect how she has spent her first seven days.

Birth Day

Rebekah was born on Monday, July 14th, 2008, at 10:15 AM in Silver Spring, Maryland. She weighed in at 7 lbs. and measured 19 1/4 inches in length.

We spent three days at the hospital, where Rebekah posed for a lot of pictures.

We went home on Thursday, July 17th, despite the fact that she didn't have a small enough outfit to wear.
