Summer Fun in Silver Spring

Rebekah indulged in some summer time fun with her pal, Ferris, today. Among other things, they took a stroll together:

Rebekah took Ferris to some of her favorite spots in the neighborhood, which included the rooftop pool and the Silver Plaza fountain.

If only Rebekah could talk, then maybe we'd know what was happening in the following picture.

Rebekah was totally wiped out by the end of the day and sporting quite a hairdo from all of her time in the water.

In addition, Mom came home from work to find bite marks on Rebekah's face. Don't worry - Ferris is totally up to date on her rabies vaccine.

At the rate that Rebekah has been eating Organic Morning O's, everyone reading this should invest in Whole Foods stock. All she needs is a pile poured on her highchair tray and she is set. Here she is grinning, foot propped up, and ready for her snack:

Chuckling Chica

As evidenced back in May, Rebekah is a culturally diverse gal who embraces the Latino culture. Here is Rebekah sporting some Peruvian garb that her buddy, Vikki, brought back to Rebekah as a gift from her recent travels:

During her photography session, Mom discovered that Rebekah thinks coughing is hilarious. Mom hopes that she never falls seriously ill or else Rebekah might pass out laughing. Check out Rebekah yukking it up at Mom's expense:

Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Rebekah attended Andrew's second birthday party this past weekend. (Mom didn't get a shot of the cake in the pre-cut phase.)

Andrew got a lot of toys, which elicited many "ohhhhhs" from him.

Rebekah enjoyed seeing Andrew and watching him open his toys but she was also interested in all of the attention that she received.

Well, there was one more thing that Rebekah liked - the part where Andrew blew out his candles...

...and she got to enjoy her first taste of cake and ice cream.

After the party, Rebekah passed out in the car on the ride back to Andrew's house.

Rebekah is keeping an eye out for her next birthday party invitation. She also would like to wish Andrew an official happy second birthday on Tuesday!

Baby Fish

Rebekah has been spending so much time in the water lately that she may soon turn into a mermaid. Of course, she loves bath time. Here she is modeling some bubbles for Mom and Dad's amusement:

Rebekah also took her first dip in a pool this week. The water was a bit cold but she seemed very curious.
