Believe it or not, Rebekah is once again a pink bunny for Halloween again this year. Despite Mom's efforts, Rebekah would not tolerate wearing other costumes. Luckily, Mom found the same pink bunny outfit in a larger size and so Rebekah has ended up repeating Halloween 2009. Here she is heading to downtown Silver Spring on Saturday afternoon for their children's Halloween bash.

Countdown to Halloween
As seen on the blog earlier this month, Rebekah attended Pumpkin Festival 2010 in Germantown, Maryland. With Halloween now only a week away, Mom, Dad, and Rebekah carved Rebekah's pumkpin. Okay, Mom actually did all the work while Dad watched Rebekah run in circles.
Here is Rebekah during the two-minute span that she was willing to sit still during the pumpkin's operation:

Old Town Alexandria
Yesterday afternoon, Rebekah strolled around Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Surrounded by historic sites, shops, and restaurants, all Rebekah cared about was sitting at the waterfront and watching airplanes land and catfish eat potato chips.
Here is Rebekah telling Mom to "sit down" on the bench and admire the view. She was also screaming, "Airplane!," and telling the airplanes to "come on in!"

Pumpkin Festival 2010
October means pumpkin time so Rebekah went to Butler's Orchard in Germantown, Maryland, today for Pumpkin Festival 2010. Pumpkin Festival is really geared towards kids her age so she had a great day at the farm.
Rebekah enjoyed sliding down the hill (over and over...):
Next weekend, Rebekah hopefully will like seeing her prized pick of the patch carved into a jack-o'-lantern.

Rebekah also got to see some farm animals, including a baby pig sleeping. She whispered to Mom and Dad, "Shhh!! Baby pig sleeping!" Rebekah ended her trip with a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and found the most perfect pumpkin in the world. Here she is admiring her selection on the bumpy and windy ride back to the festival:

Fall Festivals
The start of the fall season means the start of the fall festival season. Each community has a celebration and Rebekah tries to get out to them when she can. Today, she attended the Takoma Park Street Festival in Takoma Park, Maryland. Even though the crowds were a little overwhelming at times...
Rebekah had a good time.
