Farm Fun

It's that time of year again - open house at the Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary. Rebekah has been to the farm each year to check in on the animals. This time, Rebekah invited her buddy, Lincoln, to join her. It was a real scorcher today but the girls buckled up and hit the road:

One of the highlights was a new rescue - a one-month old lamb:

Despite the extreme temperatures, Rebekah and Lincoln had a great time.

Zoo Time!

With Grandpa Wright, Uncle Gerry, and Aunt Bobbi in town for her third birthday, Rebekah acted as a tour guide of DC and painted the town red. In addition to a jaunt to Dupont Circle and a viewing of Toy Story...

Rebekah took the Wrights to the National Zoo on Sunday. With the high temperatures, Rebekah was more than happy to step into the water misters throughout the zoo.

Rebekah saw everything from lounging lions to swimming elephants to sleeping flamingos. However, the pandas were nowhere to be found - except in 2D form:

Rebekah herself decided to be a panda instead...

...as well as a chimpanzee:

Happy Third Birthday!

Rebekah turned three on Thursday and she didn't waste any time getting her friends and family together today for a bash at Cabin John Regional Park. Here is Rebekah chowing down on some snacks and watching over her guests who came from near and far.

As you can see, Rebekah was really pumped on her birthday cake:

After a train ride and a round of cake, all of the kids headed out to the playground. Rebekah felt like she was on top of the world and couldn't have had a better time.
